Excursion Synopsis
Students start the day using aerial photos and maps to locate features. Architectural differences will also be examined and discussed. Students will analyse historical photos and maps to identify changes over time in the CBD.
Students then walk through and observe the suburb of Pyrmont. Union Square, Sydney historic sandstone quarries and Jacksons Landing are analysed as sites of urban renewal and urban consolidation.
