AUSECO has developed virtual excursions of our existing field study programs. In these uncertain times we are working to adapt to the new situation and hope you will support our efforts and find it helpful for your students in completing their assessments tasks.

What’s included?

The virtual excursion contains on-site videos and photos, audio information and instructions, identification charts, photos of all results and additional articles. All videos and photographs have been taken on high-definition professional equipment. We have created all of this in a format that allows students to complete the normal AUSECO worksheets they would usually complete in the field.

Teachers will be sent a URL link and a master copy of worksheets which they can pass onto students. The URL link will provide access to the virtual excursion learning platform. Teachers will also recieve completed answer sheets, depth study extension resources and additional information about the excursion site.

How long does each virtual excursion take?

We have designed these virtual excursions to take students a minimum of 4 hours to complete, plus extension research tasks.

What is the cost for using the virtual excursion?

The cost for a virtual excursion is $12 per student +GST.

Can I have access to see the full virtual excursion before purchasing?

Yes, we are happy to give you access for a brief time to explore the content and decide whether is right for your students. Simply add this request to your booking form.

What happens if I want to take my students on ‘a real excursion’ later in the year but have already paid for the virtual one?

We will credit you with the amount already paid.
