Auseco’s cross-curricular field trips for primary students offer a unique opportunity for experiential learning, under the care of our engaging and experienced Field Guides.
Nature Heroes
Our kindergarten excursions are a fun way to explore our natural world. Bring your eyes, ears, mouth and nose for a day of investigating all kinds of creatures and their habitats. Worksheets are optional but a sense of adventure is essential!

Bushland Buddies
The Australian bush is a unique and beautiful place to be. We’ll get to know a special tree, hunt for minibeasts in the leaf litter, and try our hands at catching creatures in the creek. Who knows, you might even make a new friend!

Rainforest Rovers
Venture into the rainforest for a day of exploring our wonderful, jungle-ful world. We’ll use our senses to discover a big rainforest resident, search for tiny creatures in the understorey, and get up close with someone who might surprise you!

Seaside Sleuths
Get out your magnifying glass, there’s loads to discover at the seaside! From the tiniest grain of sand to the slimiest sea slug, this field trip is all about looking closely and getting to know all kinds of things about all kinds of creatures.

Wetland Warriors
Wear your gumboots for a muddy adventure into the mangrove forest! There are all kinds of creatures to find in the wetlands: some with ten legs, some with two legs, and some with no legs at all! We’ll also enjoy making an artistic sand sculpture of our favourite creature with our friends.
