Secondary excursions
It’s easy to meet fieldwork requirements with an Auseco field trip
Our Secondary field study excursions
Auseco’s field trip excursions for NSW school students address syllabus outcomes from a variety of secondary subjects.
Every student gets a turn at using modern field equipment to gather primary data on an Auseco field trip. At a range of Sydney’s best field sites, we investigate local ecosystems, observe human and biological activities, and learn all kinds of essential field skills to really embed your classroom learning.

Experiential learning is the focus of our secondary field trips. Our Field Guides provide a background to the site and subject using a variety of secondary data and maps, then conduct a series of investigations aimed at supporting and supplementing classroom work. Small group activities allow every student the opportunity to gain skills using modern field equipment to collect primary data, and our worksheets enable students to record, interpret and reflect on their observations and evaluate data quality.
